With over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist, Jacqueline Laurita has provided her skills on the reality TV show Real Housewives of New Jersey. She completed over 1800 hours of instruction at Southern Nevada University of Cosmetology. She also gains ideas by watching and learning from Hollywood and Broadway caliber makeup artists, cosmetologists, and estheticians. She is the ultimate girlfriend to assist and teach you about finding your true beauty. Jacqueline researches products, techniques, and tools that allow her to achieve the ultimate look over. Jacqueline Laurita has had nearly 20 years’ experience in the Beauty industry. She is a licensed cosmetologist since 1993. She completed over 1800 hours of cosmetology instruction at Southern Nevada University of Cosmetology.
Jacqueline began her first venture into the cosmetology field by working at “The Beauty Center,” a salon in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she thoroughly enjoyed performing numerous shampoos, haircuts, styles, color, perms and hair treatments with selling various hair and beauty products. She developed significant product knowledge from beauty distributors and suppliers from various companies. Continuing her education courses for cosmetologists, estheticians and make-up artistry was extremely important to grow her passion.
Jacqueline belonged to the Nevada estheticians Professional Association (NAPA) and the National Cosmetology Association (NCA). After working many years in a salon, she went on to work for Lancôme at a Dillard’s cosmetic counter where she continued as a freelance make-up artist. She continues to style hair for a select clientele and special events. She attended various Lancôme schooling courses for the latest make-up artistry techniques, new products, and selling strategies. She learned to build and maintain clientele by educating clients on their skin, introducing them to new products according to their skin type and condition, replenishing their products, giving make-up lessons and tips and inviting them to events and special gifting deals. She also learned how to maintain inventory and usually exceeded daily sales goals.
Jacqueline has done numerous amounts of make overs, skin capturing, color analysis, and product recommendations. She has created personalized looks for different occasions and seasons for various types of skin for all ages and color. She has given numerous consultations teaching basic fundamentals of hair care, skin care, make-up, and product knowledge. She has participated in various shows specializing in make-up artistry, skin care and hair, providing backstage hair and make-up services.
She has styled hair and make-up for weddings, school dances, special events and stage make-up for entertainers and for national TV appearances and shows. Not including the interview segments, Jacqueline did her own hair and make-up for 4 seasons as one of the original star cast members on Bravo’s hit reality national TV show, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
After completing the “John Casablanca’s” modeling school to get an inside feel to the Beauty and modeling industry, Jacqueline worked many years as a convention model and other modeling jobs for various companies through model agencies such as “Lenz Talent Agency” and “Convention Ease modeling agency” where she not only modeled at various conventions and trade-shows but helped create various styles of hair and make-up for herself as well as other models. She modeled for companies such as Seychelles, Spanish Leather, Born, Samsung, Witches Desk, Accessory Network, Paollo Gucci/AV Versace, Lovables, etc. She has worked with photographers in helping to achieve different looks for herself as well as others.
She has been featured in numerous magazines and Newspapers such as People, Us, Life & Style, In Touch, National Enquirer, Star, OK magazine, Shape, Models Unlimited. Jacqueline continues to do individualized focus studies on various industry professionals in the Beauty industry and their techniques and is very familiar with the latest trends, styles and products in the beauty industry. Over the years, Jacqueline has had strong selling skills with extensive and continuous training of selling strategies and continuing education on both hair and skin care, which have led her to sell various beauty products and has built outstanding relationships with her clients, beauty suppliers and companies. She has always maintained considerable customer service skills as reported by her superiors and clients.
Jacqueline’s objective is to use her extensive cosmetology background experience and training in the beauty industry to share her knowledge with others to help them to look and feel their best.
